Alerting is designed in two clear stages, so staff can assess a situation discreetly before any site-wide response is triggered.
Stage 1
Silent verification
Confirm. Assess. Prepare.
A discreet Ajax wireless panic-button alert is sent to designated staff without immediately sounding a general alarm. The triggered location and device are identified so the situation can be assessed.
Fixed buttons can be fitted out of sight — under a reception counter, desk or classroom table — so staff can raise an alert without drawing attention.

Once the incident is verified and wider action is required, authorised staff activate the agreed security notification. The security alert is clearly distinguishable from the standard fire alarm and school bell.

App control for the staff who need it
Designated staff can arm and disarm areas, see device and system status, receive alerts and control sirens from the Ajax app, with permissions set per user so not everyone has the same level of control.

Installation, delivered around the school day
Site survey in term time or holidays
We walk the site with your estates or safeguarding lead, agree cable routes and device positions, and work around your calendar.
Installation without disruption
Most Ajax devices are wireless, so cabling and drilling are kept to a minimum. Larger works are phased over holidays or out of hours.
Commissioned and signed off
The finished system is demonstrated to your team and formally signed off before we leave site.
Training and handover
